Google thinks I’m from another country

I’ve been having a recent issue when connecting to a VPN. My computer is in Los Angeles, the VPN is in Los Angeles, but for some reason Google thinks I’m in Saudi Arabia.  I started getting bizarre auto complete options in another language in the Google search but and now it gives me google.com.sa for searching.

I’m not sure how this happened, I’m double checking that none of the users accounts got hacked on the VPN.

Update Google Settings

So, here’s what I’ve done so far, I went in and changed my region when on the VPN.  If you search for something on the results page the’s settings.

Go to Google.com and search for something

Scroll to the bottom of the page it’ll give you your current location.

You can click Use precise location or

Click Settings > Search Settings and set your region

Report Problem to Google

Then thanks to a forum post, I found a form to actually report IP problem to have Google review and correct.

https://support.google.com/websearch/contact/ip

Says it will take a month to update, so I’ll check back in and let you know how it goes in a month.

UPDATE: One month later.  Okay this worked for me.  I tested both of the IPs we had that were having the issue and they no longer pull up Saudi Arabia.  So just confirming for everything this process worked for me.
